Shopping hours - most shops open at 10.00am and close at 2.00pm.  They reopen at 5.00pm and close at 8.00pm.  Some only open 10.00am to 2.00pm on Saturdays except in the larger centres
Conil de la Frontera

Conil de la Frontera is a lovely former fishing village.  There are plenty of shops selling local goods and there is a market on Fridays in the summer.  There are also plenty of restaurants and cafes but limited clothes shopping.  Worth the visit with a fabulous ambience.

Cadiz

Cadiz is a bustling port town with plenty of shops.  There is of course a huge history to this town and it is worth the visit.  The architecture is stunnning and there are open-top-bus tours if you find it too hard to walk round.

El Colorado

El Colorado is the closest selection of shops to Finca Cigüeña and is on the way to and from the beach of Conil.  There are food shops, a supermarket and a few local handicraft shops.

Jerez de la Frontera

Jerez de la Frontera - home to sherry - is probably the closest most comprehensive shopping town especially for clothes.  There are plenty of markets during the summer and parking is plentiful. Of course there is also Jerez Zoo (see Things to do) to bribe the kids with after you have done your shopping !

Arcos de la Frontera

Set high up on a hill Arcos de la Frontera is a typical pueblo blanco that you can see miles away as you approach by road.  There is a small selection of shops and a beautiful views over the surrounding countryside.  The streets are typicaly narrow and steep.

Bahia de Sur (on the way to Cadiz)

Bahia de Sur is like an out of town mall on the way to Cadiz.  There is a wide range of clothing shops, electrical retailers and a Carrefour supermarket.  Parking is plentiful.

Nova Sancti Petri

This is a new development with hotels, sports facilities and golf courses.  There is a reasonable range of cloths shops and restaurants and is set close to the beach.

Vejer de la Frontera

Vejer de la Frontera is another pueblo blanco set high on a hill.  Shops are a little limited but worth visiting for the fun of the narrow alleys and steep walkways and excellent restaurants.

Seville

The beautiful walled city of Seville is a couple of hours away. The main shopping area is the square between Plazas Nueva, Magdalena, Encarnacion and San Francisco, with Calle Sierpes at its heart. For more touristy shops go to Barrio Santa Cruz. For more individual shops try  Barrio San Vincente and the Alameda; while for ceramics go to Triana.
